Photo Theory Final: Product Photography

During the course of this final for my Photo Theory class, we had the opportunity to pick out what we wanted to focus our themes on for photography, I ended up choosing Product Photography. This is something that I have little experience with, but would like to pursue in the future. So with some guidance, I decided to challenge myself by looking websites that document their product in a certain way to appeal to their clientele and capture an accurate look of their product. This was a trial and error process and look to continue on improving my work in the near future and seeing where this takes me.
This series follows the line of SideShow's Star Wars vinyl figures from Urban Aztec, I wanted to recreate some of the photo styles that they had on their website to see how close I could get to the real thing.

Below, you'll see two examples of before's and afters of the figures with slight editing and color correction, starting with Boba Fett.
This is a before and after of the Darth Vader Figure, shout out and big thanks to Julian Anzalone for this one. Wouldn't have been possible with out your help and kindness!
The rest of these photos are unedited detail shots or variations of the front facing images to get a feel for the layout and how to approach them. I plan to fix these up more as I go along or at least expand on it, but other than that, enjoy and thanks for looking!
